The Finer Things Journal began as small squares on Instagram: a still from a film, a sentence underlined in pencil, the curve of a cup on a windowsill. This is where those squares get room to breathe.
The word “finer” can sound expensive. Here, it has more to do with what makes something worth our time. That might be the work behind an object, the care in a sentence, or a story that helps us recognise something in our own lives. Price and polish tell us very little about whether we will remember it.
The journal moves between a handful of subjects, though they tend to bleed into one another.

If something here stayed with you, I'd love to hear about it. The conversation mostly happens on Instagram.
